My sis is having a giveaway to celebrate 300 posts! A gorgeous gingham pillow decorated with  crochet flowers, made by hand by my adorable niece.
And a jar of black forest jam made with cherries and chocolate. Be still my heart. I hope she saved me a jar! And look at that adorable cozy! My niece is a genius with yarn.

  8. Hi Kathy,
I visited your sister's blog, and she has a lovely blog, I would love to try cherries and chocolate in a jam.. I read your post on blogging, and so related to it. I have been trying to figure this blogging and commenting thing out for a while.
Sometimes I wish we just had emailing, as I think commenting and following has become to competitive. though I am so appreciative of commenters when they visit. I too have known bloggers leave because of this issue. Thank you for shedding some perspective on it
    Blessings,
    Sue.

  9. Well, sweetheart...maybe you can do what I am doing on my guest room. It has taken me almost a year, buying one piece at a time as I could afford it...I have been waiting on the quilt (in the top photo on the right) to go on sale and FINALLY, it did, just this last week. It was $119 and went on for $85.00, I think it was. I ORDERED IT SOOO FAST..Can't wait. Now, however, I have to remove a border and paint but just knowing I have all my things ready makes me sooooo happy.
